This past week I took L to visit my family and took him to a small museum while I was there. I also took him to a jumping place with tons of inflatables to jump in and slide on. I didn't get any pictures there though because I was busy jumping, climbing, and completely wearing myself out lol. I did get some pictures at the museum though. They had a really neat exhibit that L enjoyed, you stuck your hand in these cubby holes and felt the different textures. For the older children it was a guessing game but the little ones just enjoyed feeling the textures.
Today we took him to the park and had a ton of fun! I can't wait for it to get a little warmer so we can go out regularly! L has been carrying around a spoon almost religiously lately and it's really handy for him and the activities he does. So he took his spoon to the park and first used it to stir up woodchips on the playground.
After walking around the park for a while we found a stream that was just totally awesome. L used his spoon to scoop water and dig dirt from the bank of the stream. He also began building a dam with leaves, dead grass and rocks. My husband and I worked really hard to ignore the fact that it was probably a bit too cold to be submerged in water; the wheels in his head were turning a bit too much to interrupt. :)
I also took a couple pictures of how wet he got. :) This boy is SO much fun and he loves exploring new things!
